My favorite Scottish indie pop band, Belle & Sebastian, are getting ready to release their new album, Belle and Sebastian Write About Love on October 12th! I have been impatiently waiting for this since May when the band made mention of new songs and studio time on their website. You can currently listen to the lead single and title track over on their Myspace Page. Also, the album leaked all over the place today and it is taking every ounce of willpower I possess to keep from listening to the entire thing via Youtube. Before it was suddenly unavailable, I got a healthy dose of the second track from Write About Love, "Come On Sister," over at Stereogum. If you click that link, you may or may not still be able to listen to the track "Little Lou, Prophet Jack, Ugly John" featuring Norah Jones. Both songs are AMAZING and have me even more excited to buy the album on the 12th! If you haven't yet had the chance, take the time to introduce yourself to this great band. You won't regret it!
